摘要
简要介绍了GSM（GlobalSystemforMobileCommunications）切换技术、切换类型，并在此基础上分析了与切换性能相关的重要参数的选择对网络质量的影响，论述了切换技术在网络优化中的作用，最后，给出在工程实践中设置切换关系需注意的问题。
The GSM handoff technology and its classificaion are inwhuced briefly in the paper. The influence ofthe selection of the important paramters relating to the Perfortnane of the handoff is analyzed. The ac-tion of the handoff technology in the network opirnhaion is discussed- At last, the issues which shoulbe opd attention to in the practical eopneering are given.
