On the History of Geopolitical Contention of the 20th Century

20世纪世界地缘政治斗争史划分为三个阶段 :第一阶段始于 2 0世纪初 ,止于 1 945年 ;第二阶段始于 1 945年 ,止于 1 991年冷战终结 ;第三阶段自冷战结束迄今。与此三阶段相一致 ,世界地缘政治格局发生了两次大调整 ,即从以欧洲为中心的多极格局转向以欧亚大陆为中心的两极格局 ,再从两极格局向新的格局过渡。但迄今为止 ,这一过渡尚未完成。世界地缘政治格局及地缘政治中心具有可变性 ,变化的原动力基于大国综合实力 。

The history of geopolitical contention in the world is divided into three stages in this paper, with the first stage between the early 1900s and 1945; the second from the year of 1945 to 1991 and the third from 1991 till now. In the essay, the author argues that the geopolitical pattern changed twice in the 20th century. At the first stage, Europe was the center of the world, but since 1945, the geopolitical center of the world has been shifted from Europe to Eurasia, and is still shifting to a new pattern. Such a variation is mainly due to the economic strength of the big powers.
