汉英根词引申义的对比有三种情况 :一、引申方式相同且引申义重合现象 ;二、引申义可理解甚至相似 ;三、引申义不可理解。一是由于汉英思维一致性造成的 ,二是思维一致性和词义民族性相互制约的结果 。

Through comparing Chinese and English root,we can find:Ⅰ.The extending ways are the same,and some extended meanings overlap with each other.Ⅱ.Extended meanings can be understood by other language and they are even analogous.Ⅲ.Extended meanings can′t be understood easily.The Ⅰ.results from the universalization of mankind′s thought.The.Ⅱ.results from the restriction of the thoughts universalization and the nationality of the lexical meaning of each other.The.Ⅲ.is a deep and vivid place where the nationality of the lexical meaning exerts himself.
