Second Thought on the Problems of Proper Names and Terms

探讨了对单独客体如特定的人物、地方和其他对象（如机构、事件、出版物等）进行命名的方式方法，以及对术语与专名进行翻译的基本原则和几种常用方式，并指出了中国人名、地名外译中尚存在的一些问题。

The paper discussed methods of naming single－ objects (e.g. particular persons, place) and other objects (e.g. units, events and publications, etc.), as well as basic principles and commonly used manners of translating the terms and proper names. Some problems of translating Chinese names and places into foreign languages have also been pointed out.
