乌桕种皮发育的观察

Observations of Seed-Coat Development of Sapium Sebiferum (L.) Roxb

本文对乌桕种皮形成过程进行了观察 ,结果表明 :乌桕种子外表的“蜡被层”是外种皮细胞蜡质化的结果。种子外种皮分为内、中、外三层 ,其中中层较厚 ,富含油脂 ;内种皮分为内、外二层 。

This paper observes the formation of seed-coat of Sapium sebiferum(L.)Roxb.The result indicates that the waxed cover of the seed results from the waxization of the outer seed-coat,and that the outer seed-coat consists of three layers of which the middle layer is very thick and rich in fat,and that the inner seed-coat is made up of two layers and cell wall of the outer layer thickens and lignifies which is called shell seed-coat.
