To ensure the security of the billing server after QChat service is introduced to EV-DO network,two billing methods,stream-based billing and connection-based billing,are analyzed respectively.According to the busy time call numbers as well as group call numbers,the performance of the two billing methods is evaluated.Moreover,the impact of introducing QChat service on billing server is analyzed.It is proposed that the connection-based billing method should be adopted,so as to alleviate the pressure on billing server.
