摘要
To meet the great demand of information transfer, an integrated and effective network is most desirable. Firstly, we give an overview of different communication protocols and present that IP over WDM scheme will be the underlying infrastructures of next generation networks. Finally, we propose MPLS as a promising candidate to guarantee on future network platforms.
