隐喻是一种语言现象也是一种认知现象。由于中英两种语言文化中隐喻现象存在许多的相似之处和差异的地方,本文将从几个方面来对比中英文化里存在的隐喻现象,也将根据关联理论的翻译观来探析隐喻的翻译问题。

Metaphor is a linguistic phenomenon also a cognitive phenomenon.As metaphor phenomenon exists many similarities and differences in language culture of both English and Chinese,this article will compare the metaphor phenomenon in the culture of both English and Chinese from several aspects,and will be based on translation of relevance theory to analyze the translation of metaphor problem.
