中西不同思维模式下的“信达雅”与“目的论”之比较

Comparison of "Xin Da Ya" and "teleological" under the different thinking mode of Chinese and western

本文比较了中西两种具有代表性的翻译理论,严复的"信达雅"及德国功能主义学说的"目的论",从不同的文化背景以及中西思维方式的异同的角度阐释两者的异同点以及各自的特点。严复的译论带有浓厚的中式思维特点,倾向于主观、感性;而"目的论"受西方理性分析思维的影响,则倾向于社会效应和交际功能。

This paper compares two typical translation theory of Chinese and Western,＂Xin Da Ya＂ of Yan Fu and ＂teleological＂ of German functionalism doctrine,from a different cultural background and similarities and differences of Thinking way between Chinese and Western to explain the similarities and differences of them and their respective characteristics.Yan Fu＇s translation with strong characteristics of Chinese thinking,tend to the subjective,emotional;and ＂teleological＂ is affected by rational analysis thinking of the West,tend to social effects and communication functions.
