Summary on the running performance of 20 kt/a ion-exchange membrane caustic soda facicity

离子膜法制碱是目前烧碱生产新工艺，８０年代投产的均为复极式电槽，而对于产量较低（一般小于４万ｔ／ａ）的装置以单极电槽较为合适，我公司于１９９７年７月投产运行的２万ｔ／ａＦ－２型单极电解槽到目前为止近２年。

Currently, the ion-exchange membrane process is a new process for the production of caustic soda. In 1980s, the bipolar type electrolyzers were mostly used. However, the monopolar type electrolyzers are more suitable for the small-scale production facility (generally less than 40 kt/a). Model F-2 monopolar type electrolyzer with 20 kt/a production capacity of our company has been running for nearly 2 years since its starting operation in July, 1997,and its running performance is good.
