Study on the Departure Process of the Leaky Bucket in ATM Networks

漏桶算法是完成ATM网络中业务流监管的一种有效方法。文献中已有的研究大多集中在漏桶系统的时延和丢失率性能上,本文则分析漏桶系统的输出特性,输出特性决定了后续排队系统的性能。

The leaky bucket algorithm is an efficient method for traffic policing in ATM networks. While most previous studies on the leaky bucket have been devoted to the delay and loss intro duced by the leaky bucket, the characteristics of the departure flow from the leaky bucket which will determinate the performances of the succeeding queueing system is investigated in this paper.
