摘要
本文对降低长短两种周期光纤光栅布拉格波长的温度稳定性作了理论分析,并对短周期光纤光栅进行温度补偿实验研究。结果表明补偿后光纤光栅的布拉格中心波长在—20℃~80℃的温度范围内变化率为0.0028nm/℃,其温度灵敏性降低到补偿前的约5分之一。
By tailoring the refractive index profile of the fiber to carefully balance the waveguiding
properties with the material properties of the fiber. We show theoretically that the temperature
sensitivity of the long-period fiber gratings can be eliminated. In the meantime,we demonstrate a
compact ,passive temperature compensating package for short-period fiber gratings. A fiber grating
mounted in a package exhibited a total variation in Bragg wavelength of 0. 28nm over a 100℃ tem
perature range,compared with 1nm for an uncompensated package.
