Breeding of New Cytoplasmic Type CMS Line Wujin 3A

由马协Ａ 转育而成的新质源不育系武金３Ａ 具有鄂西农家品种马尾粘亲缘，其不育度高，分蘖力强，柱头外露率高，易繁殖制种，可恢性较好，杂种优势强，所配组合武金３Ａ／７２５，武金３Ａ／７３４ 等在大区对比试验中分别比汕优６３ 增产１０％ 以上。

Wujin 3A, a new CMS line with the cytoplasm from the indica local variety Maweizhan collected in western part of Hubei Province, is characteristic of high sterility, strong tillering ability, high stigma exsertion rate, good restorability, good combining ability and high seed production yield. The promising combinations mated from it such as Wujin 3A/725 and Wujin 3A/734 yielded more than 10% higher than Shanyou 63 in plot yield trials.
