On the Scientism in the 20th Century Rhetoric

科学主义是现代修辞学的传统之一，打破修辞学研究的沉寂局面，必须从科学主义提供的思路出发，首先扭正修辞学的基本前提，修正修辞学的基本理论，充分重视修辞与思维的密切关系，并以之作为修辞学研究的体系的起点。

Scientism is one of the traditions of modern rhetoric. In order to make a breakthrough in the silent rhetoic study we must begin from the train of thought offered by the scientism. The first step we should make is to correct the rhetoric of its basic premise, adjust its basic theory, pay enough attention to the close relationship between rhetoric and thinking, and thus arrive at a point from which the rhetoric studying system starts.
