To begin with the study and analysis of Yuan Cishan Gravestone written by Yan Zhenqing, the article sorts out and analysis some referencial historical materials, so that proves the relationship betwween Yuan Jie and Yan Zhenqing, both of whom are famous officials for literary grace and warlike exploits in Mid-Tang Denasty.The article also evaluates their outstanding contributions to put down the An-Shi rebellion and their noble patriotism of unyielding and unflinching when facing danger and disaster.
