This paper introduces the hardware configuration, software function and design characteristics of S 5PLC in blast furnace winding control system.The winding control system has seventy eight points of digital input, seventy four points of digital output,seven points of analog input and four points of analog output. The system also has network connection function and weighting adjustment function. This system meets the requirements of production procedure and runs very stably.
