Applying ATM to the Third Generation Mobile System Loaded with Mixed Services:Network Models and Simulation Analysis

本文建立了基于CDMA/ATM的第三代移动通信系统的网络模型 ,并对该系统在混合业务 (多速率话音业务和WWW服务 )环境下的业务质量和网络性能进行了分析 ,最后讨论了在移动通信网中采用ATM技术传输多媒体业务对系统的要求 .

In this paper we establish a simulation model of the third generation mobile system based on CDMA/ATM.Furthermore,we make an attempt to evaluate the quality of service of mixed services (variable rate speech and world wide web traffic) and performances of this model.Then we present some requirements that must be met when ATM technique is introduced into mobile communication systems.
