Maximum Likelihood Estimation of Frame and Carrier Synchronization in Multicarrier System

本文提出一种用于多载波系统的帧同步和载波同步的最大似然估计算法 .它利用多载波系统循环冗余扩展的保护间隔携带的信息进行同步估计 ,避免了基于导频符号的同步估计带来的频率和功率资源的浪费 .计算机仿真显示 ,本算法在加性白高斯噪声信道能达到最佳性能 。

A Maximum Likelihood (ML) frame and carrier offset estimation in multicarrier system is presented in this paper.The algorithm exploits the cyclic prefix preceding the OFDM symbols to perform synchronization.It reduces the cost of frequency and power with the aid of pilot symbols.Simulations show that the performance for the AWGN channel is optimal and it can be well applied to slow fading channel.
