摘要 Rapid advances in the biotechnology field have led to the development of novel biomaterials with direct therapeutic applications, and biocompatibility remains the central theme for biomaterials applications in medicine. Molecular biocompatibility, which is a largely unexplored area of biomaterial research. may be defined as the assessment of cell responses to biomaterials at the molecular level. Here we introduce the current trends the techniques of molecular biology(PCR, ISH, et al .) provide us with sensitive indicators of reaction at the tissue biomaterial interface and play an important role in the evaluation of the biocompatibility of biomaterials.
