摘要
提出一种新的估计ATM复用器信元丢失率的方法.它用马尔科夫调制过程(MMDP)仿真信元的实际到达过程,并用MMDP/D/1/K排队系统模拟ATM复用器.通过排队分析,求出了用马尔科夫链的稳态概率表示的信元丢失率公式.仿真结果表明,与SFF,MMPP模型相比,MMDP公式在ATM突发级的拥塞控制中使用令人满意.
The paper proposes a new approach to estimating the cell loss probability in ATM.It uses the MMDP(Markov Modulated Deterministic Process) to simulate the actual cell arrival process and then model the ATM multiplexer as an MMDP/D/1/K queueing system.Using queueing analysis,a formula for the cell loss probability expressed in terms of the limiting probability of a Markov chain was derived.Simulation results show that the MMDP formula is satisfactory in the burst level congestion controlling compared to SFF and MMPP models.
