中等旅游教育是我国旅游教育的重要组成部分，它是随着旅游业的产生、发展而逐步形成和完善的，在我国的旅游业发展中起着重要的作用。为了使中等旅游教育健康发展，应重视在发展过程中的问题，例如培养目标与培养方式、教育质量与科学研究、师资队伍与育人环境、学校特色与学校发展等等。只有认清形势、明确方向、坚持特色、扬长避短、适应市场，中等旅游教育才能更好地为旅游业培养人才。

Secondary Tourism Education is one of the main parts of the Tourism Education of China .It has been gradually established and perfected with the growth of the Tourism Industry of the country. And it has played an important role in the development of the Tourism Industry. For the sake of the sound development of the secondary Tourism Education,more importance should be attached to some problems arising in the process of its development. Such as the aim and the methods of the education,the quality of the education and scientific research, and the characteristics and development of the school etc. Schools of Secondary Tourism Education can better turn out qualified personnel for Tourism Industry only by getting a clear understanding of the situation and the way for further development and by upholding their distinguishing features through showing their strong points and hiding their weaknesses so as to meet the demands of the personnel market.
