Building up confidence in the development of rural science

农村科学是以农村为对象的所有学科的统称，是一个介于社会科学与自然科学之间且由众多学科组成的交叉学科门类。构建农村科学，既是全面推进农村各项事业发展的现实需要，也是科学知识体系演进逻辑所提出的必然要求。农村科学的大量待建学科，可以为社会科学工作者、自然科学工作者提供发挥创造力、扩展研究视野的广阔空间。

Rural science, an inter\|discipline between social science and natural science, is the study of all the rural disciplines. The necessity to shape up the rural science is vital not only to the current need of developing the business in rural areas, but to the perfection of the system of science. A great number of disciplines to be developed in rural areas will provide a vast scope for the scientists of both social and natural sciences to show their initiatives and to expand their research field.
