This article not only elaborates the origin of the rules for basketball matches and the development of the rules in our country,but also makes a comparison betwen the rules of NBA and FIBA.It provides the basketball circle with a picture of the systematical development of the rules for basketball matches and thus does great help for improving judgement.Through comparison,the article also froms a conclusion:the rules of basketball matches will develop in accorolance with a basic principle and the rules of basketball matches in our country will get closer to that of the NBA and be more professional.
