An optimized distribution model is critical for enterprises to reduce distribution costs and improve customer service.Studies have shown that models can be seen as the compositions or varieties of two basic models: Centralized Distribution and Regional Distribution.For distribution modeling, anticipated customer service level and total logistics cost are the decisive factors.Characters of product, market, ordering manner of customer,capital,human resources and IT application in logistics management are always essential factors of consideration.A routine review is necessary for progressive companies to maintain an efficient distribution system and constantly monitor and anticipate the impacts of change.
