秦汉时期张家界市历史考略

A Study of the History of Zhangjiajie City During the Qin and Han Dynasties

秦代，封建朝廷首次在今张家界市境内设置慈姑县；汉代，将它改为零阳。充县、东汉时，武陵地区因民族矛盾激化而爆发了数次起义斗争，沉重打击了封建统治。两汉时期，武陵地区农业和手工业发展较快，经济比较发达。张家界市出土的大量的楚文化和巴文化文物，是土家族地区宝贵的文化遗产。

In the Qin Dynasty, the feudal court set up Cigu County in what is now called Zhang Jiajie and in theHan Dynasty, the name changed into Lingyang and Chongxian County. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, because of the eth-nic contradictions, some uprisings broke out in Wuling Area, which stroke heavy blows at the feudal rule. In the HanDynasty, rapid progress were made in agriculture and industry developed and the economy developed fairly fast. TheChu and Ba Cultural artifacts unearthed in Zhang Jiajie are treasured cultural heritage of the Tujia nationality.
