Effect of Summerly Prunning on the Growth of Frangrant Pear (Pyrus bretschmeideri Rend)

库尔勒香梨3年生幼树在5月12日、6月8日、7月6日三个时期进行生长季修剪能够开张枝条角度，降低树冠高度，扩大树冠，缓和树势，促进花芽分化，以7月6日进行修剪效果最好，发育枝生长量、背上枝生长量最短，干径和花芽量最大都达到显著水平，为早期丰产奠定基础。

3 - year - old trees of' XiangLi' (Pyrus bretschnoideri Rehd cv . Kuerlerxiangli) were used to select the optimal summerly pruning period. There were three pruning treatments, May12, June8, July 6,Results indicated that a) three treatments all could enlarge branch angle, low canopy height, slow tree growth and improve bud differentiation. b) Among these treatments, the treatment on July 6 was significantly different from other treatments with the minor growth mass of developing branch and upright branch, the maximum trunk diameter and floral bud mass. So July 6 was an ideal pruning time.
