摘要
对计算机视觉几十年来所取得的巨大成就和理论研究中的困惑进行了回顾，通过对 ＣＶＧＩＰ杂志从 １９９１年到 １９９４年组织的两次论战尤其是有关３Ｄ重建理论的分析，认为无重建的表象可能为计算机视觉研究摆脱困境找出一条可行之路。
This paper brings about a review of the success in computer vision and perplexing points left in its theory study. By dealing with some arguments,especially for 3D reconstruction theory, organized by the CVGIP Magzine,it seems to the author that Edelman's suggestion of representation without reconstruction would be possibly a way for computer vision research out of its dilemma.
