马克思主义哲学的发展过程是从“实践唯物主义”走向“辩证唯物主义”。如果说实践唯物主义是马克思哲学的基础和出发点的话，辩证唯物主义（包含历史唯物主义），则是由它所生成的体系形态（既是自然观，又是历史观）。

The course of the development of Marxist philosophy was from practical materialiam to dialectial materialism. If the former is the base and starting point of Marxist philosophy, the latter (including historical materialism) is the forme's systematized image (being both the outlooks on nature and history).
