摘要
针对成人英语学习中的主要障碍，结合１９９７ 年开始选用的全新教材《实用英语》，提出因人施教，改进教学方法，付诸实践中取得较好的教学成果。
In this essay the author tries to expound from the following four aspects: (1)How to help the students especially the adult students in TV University to overcome diffculties in their English study. (2)Using good teaching material. (3)Diversify teaching methods. (4)Consolidating teaching fruit.
