摘要
通过对扬子地台西缘中段古生代地层的研究，将其划分出震旦系、泥盆系和二叠系，进一步划分为苏雄组、观音崖组、灯影组、棒达组、河心组、铜陵沟组、峨眉山玄武岩组、吴家坪组。并将该区归为上扬子地层分区九顶山小区，对该区古生代地层的划分、归属、地质构造演化等具有重要的意义。
This paper divides the Paleazoic Erathem in the middle section on the western margin of the Yangtze platform into Sinian,Devonian and Permian Systems which are subdtvided into Suxiong,Guanyingya,Dengying,Pengda,Hexin,Tonglinggou,Emeishan Basalt and Wujiaping Formations,and includes this area in Jiudingshan microdivision of the Upper Yangtze stratigrphic subdivision,This is of importance to Paleozoic division and geological evolution in this area
