刘备是《三国演义》塑造的仁主明君的典型,为了突出人物的这一主要特征,作者以眼泪作为创作手段,从笼络贤士、收取民心、智脱险境、赚取城池几个方面,对人物进行了淋漓尽致的描写,充分发挥了眼泪的作用。

In the Chinese classic The Romance of the Three Kingdoms,Liu Bei is typical of wise and benevolent emperors. To help stress this character,the author takes his tears of all shade as writing means. Through drawing worthies over to his side,buying popular support,escaping danger and taking cities by strategy etc. ,the author makes the most function of tear to depict him thoroughly.
