摘要
要真正欣赏一首诗,除了要了解作者的生平及写作风格和字词含义外,还要领悟诗中所传递的象征意义。在美国20世纪诗人罗伯特·弗洛斯特(1874～1963)的《没有走过的路》中象征艺术得到了完美的体现。
If we want to appreciate a poem fully,we must not only know the author's life story,his writing style and its implication,but also understand its symbolism. In this article the author hopes to illustrate the proper treatment to the art of symbolism by analyzing The Road Not Taken,a poem written by Robert Frost,an American poet of the 20th century.
