河北文学传统的形成源于河北解放区文学。这一传统表现出以下三个特点:现实主义的创作方法,很强的时代精神,浓郁的地方色彩和民族风格。从铁凝和孙犁两位作家的创作中,我们可以清楚地看到河北当代文学对解放区文学传统的继承和发展。

Hebei literary tradition originated in the literature of the liberated area of Hebei Province. It has three distinguishing features; 1)realistic writing method;2)strong spirit of times; 3)rich local colour and national style. By reading Tie Ning and Sun Li's works,we can see its inheritance and development clearly.
