听和读——基础阶段英语教学的重中之重

Listening and reading in the rudimentary period

语言环境对外语学习者来说是相当重要的。多听、多读是现阶段我系学生获得语言环境的最佳途径。根据我系学生的实际情况,应改变传统的课程安排模式,科学安排听力、阅读课,使学生尽早掌握这两种技能,从而保证语言材料大量、有效地输入,为语言输出打下坚实的基础。

Language enviornment is quite necessary to language learners. More listening and reading is the best way to get such an enviornment. In the light of the practical situation in our department,this article proposes to change the traditional arrangement of the subjects provided,and to rearrange Listening and Extensive Reading scientifically. Only in this way can the students acquire the skills with which they will absorb more knowledge. This can also form the base for the later use of the language.
