通过室内应力路径试验，分析红粘土的力学特性，认为通过符合实际工程应力变化的应力路径试验来确定红粘土的力学指标是很有必要的。

Analyzing the mechacal features of red clay according to the stress path tests in laboratory, wethink it is necessary to define the mechanical indexes of day according to stress path tests which are inconformity with the stress variations of practical engineeing.
