A method for calculation of amounts of volcano eruptive gases was established.By using the method the amounts of volcanic gases was calculated when Hannuoba pumice formed.The results showed that during the periods of Hannuoba volcanic activity it poured about 28 600 t volcanic gases at rate of 67.82 kg/second,among which there is 4 500 t SO 2.This method can accurately get the volcanic gas amounts which help us to know the effects of these gases on the environments and the effects of Earth's degassing on the evolution of atmosphere
