The different mineralogical characters(the mineral composition and exsiting featurs)of the lowgrade iron ores in southern,northern parts of Qidasan iron mine are discribed in this paper.Basedon the experiments of the relative oregrinding degree,liberation measurment,the experiments of induration magnetic seperation tube and magnetic seperation tube of the ores in southern and northern parts,the influnce of the mineralogical characters of the lowgrade iron ores on oregrinding,oreliberating and mineral seperation quality were expounded.All above proved that the mineralogical characters of the ores were the main affecting factor on the liberating featurs and mineral seperation qualites of the ores.
