This paper first expounds the quality of the calcite ore of west Hubei, and gives the results of the test, technological process and the examination of product quality about the superfine heavy calcium carbonate from the calcite ore. The purity of the exploited calcium carbonate product is over 98%, the whiteness is over 94%, and the contents of grains whose size are less than 2 micron are over 92%.
