摘要
In this work the changes of blood lipids, erythrocytic Na+ -K+ -ATPase activity, and dynamic viscosity(η’) and dynamic modulus(G’) of whole blood were determined in different satges of experimental atherosclerosis (AS) in the rabbit. An experimental model of atherosclerosis was established in cholesterol-fed rabbits. In the 2nd, 4th, 8th and 12th week, the parametersmentioned above were determined and the pathological changes of the aorta examined. It was found that serum triglyceride (TG)was increased in the 4th week and total serum cholesterol (TCh) was significantly higher in the 4th, 8th and 12th week than thatin the control. Erythrocytic Na+ -K+ -ATPase activity decreased progressively and it was negatively correlated to TCh in the 4thand 12th week (r = - 0.67 and - 0.51, P < 0.01 and 0.05). G’ was significantly increased in the 4th week only when theshear rate was 0. 190 Hz whereas G and η’ increased progressively from the 8th to 12th week. It is believed that the determinationof blood lipids, Na+ -K+ -ATPase activity and viscoelastic parameters of the whole blood is useful for the prediction of the propession of the pathological changes in different stages of AS.
In this work the changes of blood lipids, erythrocytic Na+ -K+ -ATPase activity, and dynamic viscosity(η') and dynamic modulus(G') of whole blood were determined in different satges of experimental atherosclerosis (AS) in the rabbit. G' was significantly increased in the 4th week only when theshear rate was 0. 190 Hz whereas G and η' increased progressively from the 8th to 12th week. It is believed that the determinationof blood lipids, Na+ -K+ -ATPase activity and viscoelastic parameters of the whole blood is useful for the prediction of the propession of the pathological changes in different stages of AS.
