Based on data of REE geochemistry,K-Ar dating and Nd isotopic compositions of Mesozoic basalts and gabbro xenoliths in NingyuanDaoxian region,Hunan Province,the evolution of mafic magmas and genesis of basalts have been discussed.From the indicative significance of basalts,the model of lithosphereasthenosphere interaction in Mesozoic in this region have been proposed.
