Using a new extraction & separation technique——supercritical CO_2 extraction (SCE),a series of complete data of technological conditions were obtained and pharmaceutical component of ginger corllinum was extracted to yield commercial products.Refinement of chili red pegments from those produced by chemical solvent method was satisfactorily made. Treatment of waste water has been studied by using SCE technique.The experimental results showed that this method sucessfully extracted CN-from electroplate industry waste water,but had no effect on extraction of COD from waste water of papermanufacturing factory.
