摘要
党的十四大以来的五年,是吉林省新闻出版事业健康、持续、稳定发展,取得进步最大的时期,各项工作都取得了长足的发展。吉林省新闻出版局始终把坚持正确的出版方向和正确的舆论导向放在各项工作的首位,较好地实现了省委提出的"出精品、出效益、出人才、不,出问题"的要求,省新闻出版局由于工作出色,被评为省级文明单位。五年来,全省出版界在许华应局长的领导下,坚持"出精品、创名牌、争国优"的指导思想,以实施"百种图书精品工程"为突破品,不断提高图书质量。14家图书出版社5年共出版各类图书1.5万种,总印数6.3亿册;共有1000余种图书在各类评比中获奖,获奖率为6%左右。在国家"八五"、"九五"
Since the 14th Session of theCentral Party' s, Cammifle, the newspublishing undertakings in JilinProvince has made rapidprogress. By the end of 1996, therewere 20 books and audio & videopublishing houses,60 public news-papers,2004 public periodicalsnearly 3000 Printing plants and 3000books and periodicals network pointsin the whole province. Its annualbook release amounted to 3000kids and total priming volume ac-cumulated to 100 milion.
