AN ANALYSIS OF CULTURAL CONFLICT AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR EFL TEACHING

摘要 The responses to a cultural awareness questionnaire administered to foreign teachers and Chinese students are analysed. A number of reasons for cross-cultural conflict and their implications for English language teaching are discussed, and the components of a possible cultural orientation course presented.
