The Application of RS Code in The Transmission of HDTV Signals

将纠随机错误和突发错误的ＲＳ码应用于ＨＤＴＶ信道传输中，以ＲＳ码结合交错码来提高信道传输体制的纠错能力，提出了ＲＳ码的编码方案，译码方案及交错方案。从计算机模拟的结果可以得出：采用ＲＳ码可使信道传输的误码率从１０－５降至１０－８。若将ＲＳ码与ＴＣＭ码级联，可进一步提高整个系统的编码增益，使得编码增益比无编码前增加３ｄｂ～５ｄｂ。

RS code which can correct random errors and sudden errors is applied in the transmission of HDTV signals.The ability to correct an error of the channel transmission system is improved by the combination of RS code and staggered code.The schemes of coding,decoding and staggering are also given.The result of computer imitation show that:by the use of RS code ,the error code rate of channel transmission system is decreased from 10 -5 to 10 -8 .If RS code is cascaded with TCM code,the code gain of whole system can be 3db～5db higher than that of no code.
