365名住麻风村的治愈者调查

Situation of 365 Persons Cured of Leprosy Who Live Still in the Colonies

随着防治措施的转变,现症麻风病人已都在家治疗,麻风村内的现症病人日渐减少,住村者绝大部分都是老弱病残和无家可归的治愈者;麻风村也就由过去的麻风治疗中心变为治愈者的休养所。为了解住村治愈者的情况,向社会及有关部门通报,于1996年对365名住村者进行了一次调查,对象为临沂、潍坊、济宁、青岛和日照的20个麻风村的全部住村者。按统一的调查表,由村里的专职防治人员对住村者采用档案调查法和面对面访谈法。

Among 365 persons cured of leprosy living in 20 colonies in various areas of Shandong Province,who were 331 men and 34 women with a mean age of 67 years,only 19 have married (5.21%)and 346 had visible disability(94.8%), including 160(25.24%)in the eyes,225 in the hands(35.49%)and 249 in the feet(39.27%). The time when they lived in the colonies was as long as one to 37 years and the causes made them can not return home were that no home for them in 144 (39.45%),they were not willing in 148 (40.55%),their family refused reception in 48 (13.15%)and the villagers did not receive them in 25(6.85%).The authors think that the medical and living conditions for them are in urgent need of betterment.
