Ultrasonic studies in rubberised shoe sole materials

摘要 Ultrasonic parameters including the wave velocity, the characteristic acoustic impedance and the dynamic modulus of elasticity of rubberised shoe sole material have been evaluated by using a double- probe- through transmiss ion technique at a frequency of 2. 5 MHz.The value of ultrasonic parameters are found to vary from sample to sample due to variation in the molecular structure. These parameters may provide an index for the quality of rubber material for making better shoes.
