摘要 In June of 1992, the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio De Janeiro adopted five important documents, including Agenda 21. Since then, Agenda 21 has become a programmatic document calling for all nations in the world to develop and put into effect their own national strategies for sustainable development. The implementation of Agenda 21 has been a new beginning for greater international cooperation, faster economic development and a better global environment.
