Chengdu Railway Bureau Chengdu Material General Plant is the base for materials storage & shipping and supply.It covers an area of 120,800 square metres including 88,000 square metres warehouse area with 31 warehouses totalling 21,000 square metres.The plant has four special lines,23 oil tankers with storage capacity of 800 tonnes,30 sets of transport and loading machines including 16 trucks with various sizes.The loading capacity amounts to 70 tonnes. The general plant undertakes the supply of materials and commodities for the various units under the leadership of Chengdu Railway Bureau and also provides steel,fuel oil,cement and building ma- terials,chemical raw material with the units outside the bureau,as well as special railway line,storage and shipping,loading and unloading,transport,etc.
