Hongjiadu Hydropower Station, as the first stage of cascade stations developed on Wujiang River, will have greater compensation benefit to thte stations located on its downstream reach than itself. The pivot includes face rockfill dam, which is the third high dam of same type in the world with a height of 183. 05 m, discharging system and generation system on the left bank. It is elaborately designed taken optimurn methods and paid attention to coordination of pfogram for foreign loan, therefore the design is a good beginning of its construction.
