Role and Position of Hongjiadu Hydropower Station in The Cascade Stations on Wujiang River

洪家渡水电站是乌江梯级的龙头电站，它坝高库大，对整个乌江梯级的径流调节起着十分重要的作用，不仅大幅度地增加了整个乌江梯级的年发电量和保证出力，并极大地提高了整个乌江梯级的调峰能力和贵州电网的电能质量。因此，洪家渡水电站在整个乌江梯级中起到举足轻重的作用，居于其它电站无法比拟的地位。

Hongjiadu Hydropower Station, as first stage of cascade stations developed on Wujiang River,will play an important role in regulating the ffow of whole cascade stations on Wujiang River with a high dam and a big reservoir. It will not only greatly raise the power and firm output of whole Wujiang cascade stations but also increase their capacity of regulating peak load and improve the quality of electricity in Guizhou network.
